More Special F/X, fog, lights, Indiana Jones Theme props, paintmore mines,

0oC at 10 a.m., so the Open Day is on.

With the warm weather, hopefully some more fields will be available to use for
Apr. 20.
- Mar. 30, 2008
- Thanks for another great Open Day. There were around
16 players. Some fun action on the bins. I'll post for the next
open Day, maybe next weekend, but please check back here.
- It will be a few more weeks before the Saturday Evening
League will be able to start, but if it warms up a fair bit, it could start
sooner.
- Team Wildside is
looking for players for their main tournament team, and possible starting a
Rookie Team. Please email
Joe,
or Jay,
if you are interested in playing some Tournament Speedball and hard work
practicing.
- Mar. 16, 2008
- Thanks for a great Open Day. We had out 14 players
and it was cold. Sounds like the Saturday Evening League will be quite
popular. I've never sold so many memberships this early in the season.

- Mar. 2, 2007
- The next Open Day will most likely be Sunday Mar. 16, 2008.
I'm away this week, so contact will be a little more difficult.
- Feb. 24, 2008
- Thanks to the 14 players who came out for the 0oC weather,
plus a few visitors. Lots of nice new markers: Ego, Eros, Shocker, Proto
Matrix, and many old stand-bys.
- I'll be away next weekend, but maybe March 9, might be a
good next Open Day, depending on the weather. It will be short notice as
I'll get back the evening of March 8.
- Feb. 22, 2007
- Looks like an excellent turn out of at least 12-14 players
for the Open Day on Sunday Feb. 24, 2008. Temperature looks good at
-3oC.
- Feb. 21, 2008
- Paintball Paradise Prince Albert will be carrying Recon
Magazine. The next issues should be here in 2-3 weeks. It's a
quarterly woodsball paintball magazine, that has become quite good in the last
year. They have amazing pictures. It used to be a catalog for
Special Ops Paintball (www.specialopspaintball.com),
but it's been spun off from Special Ops and carries anything with woodsball or
scenario paintball. Special Ops is a heavy advertisier.

- Feb. 10, 2008
- Jan. 22, 2008
- Congratulations!! There were a few additions to our paintball family in Jan. 2008
- Jim & Sue Russell (Regina) on Jan. 5, 2008 had twins: Aaden James Andrew
Russell (boy) and Sydney Angelina Marian Russell (girl).
- Jason & Heidi Wingham (Vancouver) on Jan. 9, 2008 had a boy named Slater.
- Jan. 19, 2008
- I've had a good response to the Saturday Evening League (3 emails and at
least triple that in actual numbers), so we will be having a Saturday
Evening League.
- My ideas are the following (if you have other please let
me
know).
- Saturday Evening play after 6 p.m. until dark, or play on the Lighted Bin
Field until 10:30 p.m.
- Paintball price specials on cases of paint.
- If there is an event on Sunday (tournament), it might be cancelled due to
setting up for the event, or if there is enough help, it will just delay the
start a bit. If there is a Night Game, Saturday might be cancelled,
depending on interest. No play on the Oldtime Weekend.
- Reffing would be rotated between players or designated refs/players on
both teams, or first one(s) out refs the reminder of the game, or some such
thing.
- One week would be semi, and the next week would be pumpgun only, or
something along those lines.
- If you are interested in the Saturday Evening League, please email
me.
This will help me in organizing it. Also let me know, if you like semi
or pump, or both. Thanks.
- New team website up, with a WW II theme.
Wyld Stallions from
Saskatoon area. Great bunch of guys that started playing as a team in
2007, and played in all the SPCC events and at the Big Game.
