    • Paintball Paradise Prince Albert Inc. is a dealer for Redz & Hammerhead barrels.  I believe that we are the only Canadian Distributor for Hammerhead.  Hammerhead barrels are riffled, reversed ported (quiet), light weight and very accurate.  Fin kits are very popular with 3 sizers and one front.  I have a few barrels in stock: Cocker, Automag (2), Tippmann A-5, Tippmann 98 & Spyder.  (MSRP $135 USD $179 Canadian)  On sale now for $165.00 Canadian.  All are 12" long and riffled.  The barrels seem to shoot themselves clean better than most barrels.

      • There will be a group out the same day, but most likely will not mix with the Open Day players.
    • Also M3 Paintball, was sold (used to make the Black Dragun cheap electronic marker). Dragunfire is the new name for the Black Dragun, and the prices are very reasonable for the marker that works well.  The new name for the distributor is Dragun Empire.  Check out their webpage.
    • GForce has a new ram for the Autococker with a Micro-QEVs.  From their release
      • G-Force releases its own RAM, which will boost the cycling rate for the WGP Autocockers.  Using low friction seals that glide within a stainless steel cylinder, the G-Force’s RAM operates efficiently at a low pressure. This new G-Force RAM also has two integrated Micro-QEVs (quick exhaust valves) at each end of the RAM to quickly vent out the exhaust air, allowing the RAM to move even faster, instead of venting exhaust air through the standard 4-way, electronic 5-way or the Gemini 6-way valve. G-Force RAM will work with all stock and electro Autocockers.
    • I saw these in Pittsburgh @ the International Amateur Open.  They are called VBalls, which are reusable practice balls or target balls.  Use them were you don't want to leave a mess.  I don't think they will be a huge hit, but they are interesting.

        • I have 7 Chrome UV Ricochet Loaders left ($55 each), which are non-motorized, but have 7 LED's in them which make the paint glow quite brightly (one 9-volt battery required).  Pat has his ready, so that it doesn't shine.
        • You can make your own UV Hopper by adding a "UV counterfeit detector" light to your hopper.  I have 6 of these $10 lights left.  I've heard that the Dollar Stores around town have had some in for a couple of bucks.  These work very well.  They worked great in my 12 volt Revoltution, with the paddles stirring up the paint so that both ends had glowing paintballs.  If you have transparent hoppers (red, green, blue, clear, etc) you might want a hopper cover, as the glow is very easily seen.  I just got some covers in.
      • Don't forget to bring a flashlight!!
      • Each team will be marked with Glow sticks (red & blue).  Refs in green.

  • April 2, 2003
    • From www.paintcheck.com a warning.
      • BEWARE OF Paintball Scams on E-Bay!
There is a rash of scams on e-bay as of late involving high-end paintball guns.
Apparently the majority of them are coming from scammers in the UK.
The scams are easy to spot. Most are high-end tournament markers that are
hard to acquire, and you will notice that the payment options are generally Western Union and Bank Checks only. We became acutely aware of the problem when images of our test guns and content from our webs site started appearing in auctions.
  • Mar. 29, 2003
