Nov. 18, 2007
- What a day to be a proud Green &
White fan. There will be a party in Saskatchewan next Sunday Nov. 25
for the 95th Grey Cup vs. Winnipeg. I still remember Nov. 26, 1989 and
driving around Saskatoon, after the win, and being 3 hours late getting back
from P.A. after the game. The entire 8th Street was packed with fans.
It was great, we drove around for hours shaking hands with crazy fans. I
guess we were too.
- Winter prices are now up on the
website.
- Rentals increase by $5, to cover the cost of the HPA needed to power the
markers.
- Plus temperatures need to be above -15oC.
- We have over 20 rental HPA tanks available now.
- Plus always bring a change of clothes. Boots and thin gloves will
help. Wear layers of clothes, as you will most likely heat up while
playing.
- It's a little crowded in the HQ, but we seem to get by. We always have
a fire going in the BBQ pit.
- Welt Magazine is a new
free online paintball magazine, that is best viewed on High Speed Internet
connections. It has some interesting links to videos, and the Welt of the
Month.

- A big Thank-you to everybody that helped this weekend, and really fix-up'd
Paradise. Most of Wildside was a huge help on Sunday, along with Brad P.
from Punishers, Jim H. and Trevor V. (old-time Predator who is now back in
Saskatoon).
- The Castle Field now has been expanded and added 20
Blue Angel Air Inflatable bunkers. Wildside and all the help played this
field, right after it was completed. I could barely keep them off it once
it was completed. There are a couple of pics on the Castle Web page.
- The Small Field now has some Castle Walls.
- Earlier we added some Inflatable bunkers to the Bins and everybody seems to
love the addition.

- From the Poll, we will be running Open Evening on Sundays, once the weather
warms up. Play will start around 6 p.m. until dark or 10 p.m. One
week will be Pump gun Night and the next will be Open Class play.

- Thanks to everybody who came out to the Open Swap Day. I've never had
over 70 players on the Bin Field at the same time.
- Justin's splash into the Big Cheese will not be forgotten, and I wished I
had a video of that. I think the only thing that didn't get wet was his
marker. He saved the marker and never missed much of the beat. We
blew some air into the board and battery before the next game. He never
missed a game even though he was dripping in the cold for the rest of the day.
- The new air bunkers were a great addition to the Bin Field.
- If you have a good story from today, post it at the
Wildside Forum under Paintball Paradise or the General Tab.
- In case you missed it, we had out around 20 players today. April Fools
on the first line, it's misleading but truthful.

has acquired
American Paintball Supply LLC, from a press release on
Warpig.
Archon is the current distributor of Zap paintballs and various other
paintball equipment, and includes the Bob Long marker line exclusively.
This is another merger of large paintball companies. Both companies are to
keep operating. APS has a fairly good reputation as a distributor in the
USA. Zap distributes paintballs in 38 countries, including Canada & USA.
Archon distributes in Canada, USA & Europe.

- Thanks to Jim, Brian, Raylene & Pat for stopping by and helping get the
field ready to play. Some snow banks will have to melt on their own, but
the Bin Field is now playable. So next weekend, we'll have an Open Day.
Not sure which day yet, I need to be in Saskatoon on Sunday 10 a.m.-Noon, but we
could play around 2 p.m. or on Saturday, anytime so long as it doesn't snow any
more. Give me an email to let me know what you think.

- After 18 years, the International Amateur Open / Paintball Festival in
Pittsburg has been cancelled. It was an amazing event which I attended at
least 3 times. It had a great Industry Conference.
- The Procaps DXS PULSE loader is on hold while manufactures sort out
"...alleging various infringements of NPS’ alleged
intellectual property rights..." patent infringement stuff with National
Paintball Supply. The complete release is found on
Warpig.

Feb. 10, 2007
- I've been running Kaspersky Anti-virus 6.0 for a few weeks, and it's been
great. This is not a program for novice or rookie computer users, as it
also blocks programs from running too, and some programs are important to make
your computer run. Here's a link below, if you are interested.
- I love Counter Spy, and now there's a Version 2 available. The
one thing I didn't like about Counter Spy V 1.5, was it's high memory
requirement. Version 2 has a low memory usage and a great new treat
engine.

- I finally have an undercocking Phantom Pump marker. Jay @ fireblade in
Florida has finished with my Phantom. Here's a few pics, hopefully,
the shipping to me doesn't take too long.
